OUR STORY

HOW IT BEGAN

DIY Coffee started as a collision between a love for coffee and a need to cut expenses. Like any DIYer worth their salt, we figured if we could learn to do it ourselves, we could do it better and cheaper than paying someone else.

When you drink specialty coffee, you notice the same pattern. Great product, mystifying process. Everything aimed at cafe culture and coffee nerds. Nothing for the rest of us who just want a bloody good cup without the ceremony.

So we built DIY Coffee for Aussies who'd rather do it themselves. Weekend warriors. Home improvers. People who know that doing it yourself will eventually pay off.

What We Do

We roast specialty-grade coffee beans fresh every week and ship them Australia-wide. Our debut espresso blend is designed for home brewing. Espresso machines, stovetop moka pots, Aeropress, whatever you've got in the kitchen.

We work with experienced coffee roasters in Sydney for production, which means we can focus on what matters. Developing blends that actually work at home and showing people it's easier than they think.

Where You'll Find Us

You can order directly from this website or find us in select Bunnings cafe locations where we're proving that specialty coffee belongs in hardware stores. Because every DIYer knows essential tools include nuts, bolts and beans.
